Tibet Wind Horse Adventure is part of a global community of folks who share the same quest for adventure, learning, and awareness. We work with a range of companies, projects and initiatives to support our shared goal of building a sustainable business and running the best trips we can.
Kokatat is a community minded company that makes (in our humble opinion) the best river wear on the market. They have supported our training of Tibetan River guides from the beginning and continue to support our river explorations in Tibet.

THDL is the digital library that archives many of the resources we use to learn about Tibet. The THDL website is an incredible resource for those wanting to learn more than the general guidebooks tell you. Wind Horse partnered with THDL in 2006 to help build a deeper understanding of Tibet in the western world and in Tibet and China itself.

Dropenling is the retail store for the Tibet Artisan Initiative, a fantastic project working with skilled Tibetan artisans on all aspects of market development from designing and sourcing local materials to sales and marketing. You pay a little more but you know the arts and crafts you are buying are 100% locally produced and the profits are going back into the Tibetan community.
