Day 1: Arrive & drive to Tsedang * Day 2: Visit Samye then drive to Lhasa * Day 3-4: Lhasa sightseeing. * Day 5: via Yamdrak-tso to Gyantse. * Day 6: visit Gyantse, Shalu, to Shigatse. * Day 7: visit Tashilhumpo, drive to Lhasa. * Day 8: Airport departure.
This is our most basic tour, allowing you to visit Central Tibet and see the most important sites in just over a week. It also serves as a foundation for our more complex itineraries which include time in Lhasa and other areas in Central Tibet.

This unusual and rewarding tour combines some of the most dramatic landscapes and retreat areas in Tibet. The unique route means we do not retrace our path at any place and provides a loop through the high and sacred landscape of Namtso, ˇ°Sky-lakeˇ± as well as the ever-enticing base of Mt. Everest.

Ganden to Samye trek align="center"> Departing June 01st 2010
Day 1-3: Lhasa sightseeing. Day 4: visit Ganden monastery and walk to camp. Day 5-8: trekking from Hebu to Nyengo. Day 9: visit Samye. Day 10: Tsedang sightseeing. Day 11: airport departure.
This is an excellent basic trek which combines important historical sites with a beautiful hike through high-altitude nomadic areas. The first days in Lhasa will give us time to sightsee and also to acclimatise before we visit the ridge-top complex of Ganden.
