Reting Tsangpo Expedition: First Full Descent

In summer 2006 we drove high onto the Tibetan plateau in search of the source of the Reting Tsangpo. We had a mixed group of kayakers and rafters and 240kms of unexplored whitewater ahead of us. What we found was perhaps one of the best expedition rafting trips in the world.

This past fall an international group of paddlers embarked on a tripü to Tibet, to the Roof of the world. The team consisted of a international group of paddlers from different countries and for the first time, there were 3 swiss paddlers all together on such an adventure.
